Weddings in Istanbul - style, venues and atmosphere
Istanbul offers three distinct wedding styles. The first is Bosphorus palace weddings: Çırağan Palace Kempinski (the restored 1863 Ottoman palace) and Four Seasons at the Bosphorus (in the restored Atik Pasha building) are two 5-star choices with private waterfront terraces. Çırağan has the Sultan Suite (USD 35,000 per night) and capacity for 1,200 guests in Tuğra Hall. Budget EUR 180-380 per cover for fine-dining wedding dinner.
The second style is historic old town (Sultanahmet) with ceremonies on terraces overlooking Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and Topkapı.
