One place to describe your wedding abroad, and hear back from the venues and planners who want to host it
Wedding Abroad Group is run by Adealsweden AB, a Swedish company. We run sites in 16 European markets, each in its own language, and they all work the same way: a couple describes the wedding they want abroad (country, date, number of guests, budget), and venues and planners in that country who are signed up with us read the brief and decide whether to answer it. We do not organise weddings ourselves, and couples never pay us anything.
Sending a brief costs nothing and commits you to nothing. It is the venues and planners who pay us, never you.
Every venue and planner applies to join, and we read each application before approving it. That does not make us a guarantor of anyone's work, so compare the answers you get and ask questions before you book.
At most six venues or planners can answer the same brief, so you get a real choice without being flooded.
Tell us the country, the date, how many guests and your budget. It takes a few minutes.
A brief becomes visible to venues only once you have confirmed it, so nobody acts on an address that is not yours.
Venues and planners who want to host your wedding write to you in your inbox on the site. You choose who to talk to, and nobody gets your email address or phone number until you reply to them.
The cost and planning figures in our guides and destination pages come from three places: the wedding briefs couples send us (budgets, guest counts, dates and destinations, anonymised and aggregated), prices that venues and suppliers publish themselves, and official sources such as civil registries and embassies for legal requirements. Every guide shows the date it was last updated. If you find something that is wrong or out of date, write to us through the contact page and we will correct it.
