Ibiza is no longer just the club island - since 2015 the northern half (Santa Gertrudis, San Carlos, San Juan) has established itself as one of Europe's most exciting wedding destinations. The aesthetic is boho-luxe: agave, white fincas, hand-woven rugs and weddings that could just as easily be shot for Vogue.
Club Ibiza still exists in the south (Playa d'en Bossa, San Antonio), but weddings almost always happen in the north or on the west coast. Budget EUR 35,000 to 80,000 for 60 guests, and expect the prices to keep climbing - Ibiza has become significantly more expensive between 2020 and 2026. Direct flights from London and Amsterdam in summer.
Weddings in Ibiza - style, venues and atmosphere
Northern Ibiza is finca territory. Atzaro, Cas Gasi, Can Lluc, Ses Savines and La Granja are the most established venues - all private estates with pool, palms and in-house wedding planning. Weekend hire: EUR 8,000 to 20,000 plus catering.
For beach club weddings, Experimental Beach (Ses Salines), Beachouse Ibiza and Amante Beach Club dominate. A sunset ceremony at Sunset Ashram (Cala Conta) is iconic - free public space but requires a private permit through a local planner. Amante in Sol d'en Serra is the classic for medium-sized weddings of 60 to 100 guests.
Stylistically, Ibizan weddings are unique: palm fronds, macrame backdrops, natural materials, large pillar candles in iron, white linen dresses. Do not import a wedding DJ from home; local DJs trained in the Carl Cox school give the wedding the right energy. The catering style is family-style - long tables, mezze, paella, sangria.
Civil weddings are performed at Eivissa (Ibiza town) town hall. The season is May to October, but the island's pricing doubles in July and August. May, June and September are optimal. Book a villa for all family guests (large Airbnb-style) instead of hotel rooms - social weddings work better when everyone stays together.

- Hire White Ibiza, Knot & Pop or Lola Bijoux as planner: all have experience with international clients.
- Book Atzaro or Cas Gasi as the ceremony venue. Sunset Ashram gets clogged with photographers from other weddings.
- Catering: Bay Ibiza or Coqua are top names. Order paella mixta for dinner and tapas for the reception.
- Skip San Antonio as a guest base: choose Santa Eulalia or Talamanca instead, calmer nights.
- Hire a vintage Citroen Mehari for the couple via Mehari Club Ibiza: iconic for photography.

We recommend Ibiza for couples who want a boho-luxe wedding with 40 to 80 guests and a sunset ceremony on a beach club. Choose the north for intimacy, the west coast for beach club energy. This is not the right island for traditional, formal weddings.
